Overview:
A leading Japanese travel company seeks a passionate Travel Inbound Coordinator. The successful candidate will create unforgettable and outstanding business and leisure travel experiences for Japanese travelers in the U.S.
Role & Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage travel services for Japanese visitors to the U.S.
– Collaborate with local teams to ensure seamless travel experiences and provide on-site support.
– Oversee operations, event planning, technical visits, and corporate appointment scheduling for MICE events across the U.S.
– Design and execute post-MICE tourism activities.
*MICE stands for Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions/Events, encompassing a range of business events.
Qualifications:
– Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
– Significant experience in inbound travel operations.
– Strong adaptability and a hospitable approach.
Location:
– Hybrid: New York, NY/Torrance, CA
Typically requires a few in-office days per week, with variations based on role and traveler volume.
Positions with increased on-site support may require more frequent office visits.
Exceptional candidates may qualify for a fully remote option.
– Full Remote: San Francisco, CA
Frequent on-site support may be required.
– Full remote in any area of the US is possible depending on experience.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM (PT or ET).
Weekend and shift-based work may occasionally be required.
