A leading Japanese IT solutions company is seeking a talented Server Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructures for on-premises and cloud environments.

Compensation & Work Style:
Annual Salary: $80,000–$130,000
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (on-site in NYC and remote flexibility)
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructures, operating systems, and applications.
Configure, monitor, and optimize server environments to ensure stability, security, and high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate server-side logic with front-end applications.
Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and security.
Develop and maintain APIs to support system integration and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve server, database, and application performance issues.
Perform thorough testing to validate functionality, performance, and security compliance.
Document system configurations, processes, and updates for operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Fluent in Japanese and English.
Proven experience as a Server Engineer or in a similar server infrastructure role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Azure/Entra (highly desirable).
Strong understanding of database design, management, and data security best practices.
Experience with API development and integration.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
