Overview:
As a Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will drive IT initiatives within the Japanese banking industry.
Your expertise and experience in IT within the financial sector, especially Banking market operations, including foreign exchange and derivatives, will be invaluable as you collaborate with stakeholders and oversee projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your comprehensive IT background in the Japanese financial industry (specifically banking) to contribute to our projects and ensure successful outcomes.
Serve as a bridge between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, analyze business processes, and propose innovative IT solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and global resources, to plan, execute, and monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Leverage your project management skills to create and manage project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Conduct thorough business analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and providing recommendations for process improvements.
Act as a liaison between our Japanese and English-speaking teams, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment of project goals and expectations.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, bringing new ideas and best practices to enhance our IT solutions.
Qualifications:
Very fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in the Japanese financial industry, specifically within the banking sector, especially banking market operations, including foreign exchange and derivatives, is essential.
Proficient in IT project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution proposal.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders locally and globally.
