Overview:
An excellent Japanese IT Company is seeking an IT Project Manager.
This position will oversee the implementation of IT solutions, projects, strategies, plans, and budgets for a few dedicated accounts.
They will liaise regularly with other sales team members and colleagues from various departments, such as technical design, engineering, enterprise solutions, business solutions, cloud solutions, and senior company managers.
Backed by a team of technical consultants, he or she will maintain the existing customer base while developing and expanding new opportunities within the account.
Job Description:
• Maintains customer’s organizational effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Gather requirements and identify solutions to meet the customer’s business and IT needs.
• Work with various skilled internal and external teams to develop and implement project plans that can meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of work delivered from Projects and Managed Services.
• Prepare and conduct technical/service meetings and presentations.
• Communicate technical ideas or requirements to sales teams, business stakeholders, and technical audience.
• Supports the opportunity life cycle from initial contact of sale through implementation.

DOE ($85K – $110K)

Qualifications:
・Bilingual in Japanese and English
・Experience working with Japanese firms (domestic/abroad)
・Preferred 3+ years of experience in technical Project Management.
・Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
・Excellent document creation skills.
・Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
・The position requires a B.S. (preferably) in Information Systems Technology or a related field.
・Able to go on business trips (mostly domestic travel. Typical trips are for 2-3 days. )
