Overview
A global travel company seeks a bilingual Sales Coordinator to support its Destination Package Services (DPS) division.
This role focuses on promoting and selling U.S. domestic travel products—including FIT packages, optional tours, and customized itineraries—to both corporate-affiliated customers and general individual travelers.
You will manage inquiries, strengthen client relationships, support product development, and assist with digital marketing initiatives, including online promotions, product updates, and campaign coordination.

Responsibilities
Sales & Client Support
Handle inquiries from individual travelers, corporate-account employees, and general customers.
Provide proposals and quotes for FIT packages, U.S. domestic travel products, and optional tours.
Support both new and existing clients through proactive communication and follow-up.
Promote seasonal packages, campaigns, and special offers to increase sales opportunities.
Product Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine travel products and itineraries.
Stay informed about U.S. destinations, attractions, and supplier offerings.
Update product information, pricing, and availability as needed.
Provide feedback to improve product quality and competitiveness.
Digital Marketing & Promotions
Assist with online product updates and content coordination.
Support digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and social media activities related to DPS offerings.
Help track engagement and sales performance to optimize future campaigns.
Booking & Operations
Manage reservations, amendments, and confirmations accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with hotels, transportation providers, and tour operators to secure services.
Troubleshoot booking issues and resolve customer concerns professionally.
Vendor & Partner Relations
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, operators, local partners, and travel agents.
Negotiate pricing and service terms when appropriate.
Ensure smooth coordination for all customer arrangements.
Reporting & Administrative Duties
Manage sales records, booking data, and client profiles.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for internal teams.
Contribute to workflow improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications
Japanese/English bilingual proficiency (spoken & written).
Experience in travel sales, travel coordination, customer service, or related fields.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Close attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and standard business software.
Familiarity with digital marketing or online promotions is a plus.
Knowledge of U.S. travel destinations or tour products is preferred.
Other / Miscellaneous
Full-time, hybrid role (NY or LA office; minimum on-site days vary).
Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required based on customer needs.
