Overview
Coordinate inbound leisure travel products (primarily MyBus tours, FIT, and small groups) for visitors to the Los Angeles area
Communicate with operators, tour suppliers, hotels, transportation partners, and internal teams to secure allotments/availability and resolve operational issues in real time
Develop quotations, confirmations, admissions, rail/air tickets, restaurant bookings, and other ground arrangements
Support planning, enhancement, and launch of new products and customer offerings based on market demand
This role also includes ticket-related coordination and logistics for major US professional sports events hosted in Los Angeles, including ticket requests from other agencies and on-the-ground operational support during event periods
Responsibilities
Arrange buses, guides, admissions, rail/air tickets, show tickets, restaurants, etc.
Respond to daily operational issues (delays, cancellations, last-minute changes) and provide timely solutions
Support cost/profitability tracking and coordination with internal teams
Answer inquiries from sales teams and external travel agencies
Prepare estimates for special requests and custom arrangements
Maintain structured communication with operators, sales teams, vendors, and travel agencies to ensure high-touch coordination
Support new product planning and rollout (research, proposal shaping, trial operations)
Seek operational efficiencies in workflows, cost, and vendor utilization
Maintain accuracy, compliance, and ethical standards in all activities
Qualifications
Bilingual fluency in Japanese & English
Professional fluency in Japanese with proven business communication experience (customer-facing) in a Japanese corporate context
Prior inbound travel operations experience strongly preferred (MyBus, FIT, group ops, or comparable tour operations)
Excellent coordination and communication skills; able to own tasks through completion
Strong judgment with the ability to prioritize in time-sensitive operational environments
Experience in customer-facing communication, vendor negotiation, or client coordination (sales support / CS backgrounds also considered)
Interest in new product development and event-driven operational work, in addition to core tour operations
Remote-first, but must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the Torrance, CA office
