Job Description:
As an Account Manager for the manufacturing industry, you will play a vital role in managing and growing client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
Negotiating contracts and resolving client issues and concerns.
Meeting and exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
Identifying, developing, and attracting prospective strategies to expand client accounts.
Preparing quotes, presentations, and product or service proposals tailored to client needs.
Conducting market research to stay updated on product trends and services.
Preparing detailed reports on account status and providing actionable insights.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Managing small to medium-sized projects and ensuring timely delivery.
Requirements:
Proven work experience in the IT industry.
Systems Engineering experience is highly valued.
Familiarity with Japanese working culture and business practices.
Experience with Japanese IT companies or Japan-based firms is highly beneficial.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel for business trips.
A team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
Flexibility for occasional overtime.
