About the Role
A Japanese IT company is seeking two Bilingual IT Project Managers (junior and mid-level) to join system development and financial projects with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure (network, servers, databases, storage, etc.).
Candidates with expertise in external integration testing (ITb), particularly coordinating across various systems, will be highly valued. Experience in financial market systems (such as securities, forex, or derivatives) is a plus.
While New York-based candidates are preferred, remote work may be considered for highly qualified individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support IT projects in financial system development, focusing on infrastructure-related tasks.
- Manage system integration testing (ITb), ensuring seamless coordination between multiple financial systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, bridging technical and business requirements.
- Ensure smooth project execution, handling risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Stay up to date with financial IT trends, bringing innovative solutions to projects.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Japanese & English (strong verbal and written communication skills).
- Experience in system development and financial projects, particularly in IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network, server, database, and storage systems is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in integration testing (ITb) and cross-system coordination is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial market systems (securities, forex, derivatives) is a strong advantage.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
