A Business Analyst / Systems Engineer position involves working on cutting-edge banking projects, particularly with market systems, including securities, forex, and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients in the banking sector to gather business requirements and analyze system needs.
Participate in projects related to market systems, such as securities, foreign exchange, and derivatives trading platforms.
Provide systems engineering support to ensure smooth integration and optimization of financial systems.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Lead or support developing and implementing new systems and enhancements to existing market systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues to ensure business continuity.
Contribute to project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
Prior experience in banking or financial services, particularly with market systems (securities, forex, derivatives).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Knowledge of systems engineering practices and methodologies.
Ability to work on-site at the NY office (Midtown) approximately twice weekly.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
