Overview:
A leading Japanese IT company seeks an experienced and versatile Network / Server Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the clients’ cutting-edge network and server solutions.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting technical projects about IT infrastructure, provide high-level support, and contribute to the success of various customer operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze potential client needs, market trends, and demands to identify tailored solutions.
Develop custom services and products using Internet-related technologies to meet client specifications.
Implement and upgrade new and existing services and solutions, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Provide technical consultations to clients, offering expert advice on IT-related systems and solutions.
Manage technical projects during pre-sales and post-sales phases, ensuring smooth transitions and successful delivery.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery and completion.
Perform installation, system analysis, and other field services at client sites as needed.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot network, server, and other IT-related systems to ensure optimal performance.
Provide support for advanced technical issues and manage escalations for quick resolution.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues on-call, ensuring 24/7 availability (no full-shift duty).
Manage existing accounts and resolve all technical challenges to maintain strong client relationships.
Technical Qualifications:
Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices to provide the most suitable IT solutions.
Expertise in products from major vendors like Microsoft, VMware, Symantec, and others.
Proficiency in network devices and solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto, and other leading providers.
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows server operation and maintenance.
Experience with security software and solutions for both servers and PCs.
Familiarity with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies.
