Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
Lead and manage IT projects related to cybersecurity for a Japanese bank client.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; track milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and security specialists, to meet project objectives.
Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Client Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Conduct regular status meetings with clients and internal teams to communicate project progress and address issues or concerns.
Provide expert advice on cybersecurity practices and solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
3. Security Planning and Implementation:
Collaborate with the client to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity plans.
Continuously update incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to protect client information.
Plan and implement/migrate security solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.
4. Security Operations and Incident Response:
Perform security administrative operations, including configuring security policies and access control lists.
Monitor the client’s IT network and systems for security breaches; promptly investigate and respond to threats.
Manage the impact of security incidents, minimizing damage and adjusting security controls for future prevention.
Conduct regular security assessments, including penetration and vulnerability testing.
Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in cybersecurity or IT security.
Previous experience working in or with a banking environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including intrusion prevention, detection, and incident response.
Experience with security planning, implementation, and operations for on-premises and cloud environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications in IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
