A growing innovative optical components and instruments manufacturer for telecom, test, and measurement biophotonics company is looking for a Sales Engineer who is a candidate for the next leader.
Job Description:
The initial job responsibilities shall include the sale of Fiber Optic Components and other products. To fulfill the duties, Candidate will need to perform the following functions:
-Make sales calls and contact prospective customers, negotiate specifications, pricing, and delivery to increase sales
-Demonstrate products and their usage, keep up-to-date product knowledge
-Travel to customer locations to make sales presentations and other locations as needed
-Create and forward quotations and other technical proposals to customers
-Communicate with the production and research and development staffs of the company in both the United States and Japan, as well as any other locations the company may have
-Employee will also be expected to make post-sale follow-ups with the customers, submit weekly and monthly projected goals, strategies, and sales planning reports as well as quarterly and annual goal and achievement reports
The candidate should love being at the cutting edge of optics and communication technology and be keen on customer commitment.
Requirements for Work & Education:
-Electrical Engineering, other Engineering, or Physics major.
-Fiber Optic Engineering preferred.
-2-10 years of sales experience in related fields, such as the high-tech industry.
-Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
-Work well in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
-Professional, energetic, creative, analytical person and critical thinker
-Moderate travel required, some international travel.
Salary: DOE ($55K~$65K)
