Job Description:
Engineering Activity
– Provide support desk functions for assigned clients, handling inquiries, performing predefined operations/tasks, escalating issues, and maintaining communication with project/support members, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
– Responsible for tracking incident and ticket statuses, actively monitoring situations, and keeping all systems and documents current.
– Manage projects by preparing and updating documentation, overseeing vendor activities, maintaining project management systems, summarizing work logs, and liaising with stakeholders.
– Execute specific project tasks such as predefined operations, documentation creation, and user support.
Adhere to assigned budgets and deadlines or escalate issues to management as needed.
– Continuously streamline and improve operations.
– Perform various other tasks related to project support.
– Work onsite at client locations, either short-term or regularly, and attend sessions as required.
Analysis Activity
– Work activities logged daily in systems like Sprint Backlog and SharePoint.
– Analyze and compare actual performance against forecasts for support cases and projects.
– Develop improvement plans or solutions based on analysis of support cases or project statuses.
– Prepare and deliver status reports on support cases and projects to line management.
– Independently devise and implement improvement plans, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
Management Activity
– Lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals while adhering to their responsibilities and milestones.
– Mentor team members in resolving issues and developing their skills.
– Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
– Ensure all projects are completed on time and within scope and budget.
Other Activity
– Work with the sales and financial control teams to enhance business operations and mitigate potential project risks.
– Promote teamwork by covering for absent colleagues and providing support as needed.
Qualifications:
– Fluency in both Japanese and English languages
– Proven experience in project management, specifically in ERP/Business Application projects
– Strong knowledge and experience in cloud computing, software development, and databases
– Proficiency in requirements gathering, time management, and user acceptance testing
– Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall
– Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and other relevant software tools
– Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus
